Waterproofing

Basement waterproofing involves techniques and materials used to prevent water from penetrating the basement of a structure. Waterproofing a basement that is below ground level can require the application of sealant materials, the installation of drains and sump pumps, and more.

If Bathroom or W/C has Leakage, it is checked, after that hole is made with a drill machine. One or more holes are made if necessary. A plastic nozzle is fixed in the hole and is joined to the pressure grouting machine. Then mixture of cement & polymer chemical is put with a certain pressure under. So the empty space under the tiles is filled permanently and results in stoppage of leakage.

Pressure grouting or jet grouting involves injecting a grout material into otherwise inaccessible but interconnected pore or void space of which neither the configuration or volume are known, and is often referred to simply as grouting. The grout may be a cementitious, resinous, or solution chemical mixture.

In internal waterproofing for tank, we cover internal and external structural membranes with a layer of quality cement mortar. This is carried out by a team of professionals, which follows streamline methodology that includes breaking RCC surface, curing and preparatory work such as hacking out loose concrete cover. In external wall waterproofing, we apply one coat of primer and two coat of elastomeric waterproofing coating on the prepared surface as per approved shade and color to avoid leakage of water.

ETP-STP Tanks Waterproofing For water tanks, a waterproofing coating is applied over the concrete surface followed by protection plasters and chemical-resistant, food-grade epoxy coatings. Coal tar epoxy is used for STP/ETP tanks.

Waterproofing is the process of making an object or structure waterproof or water-resistant so that it remains relatively unaffected by water or resisting the ingress of water under specified conditions. Such items may be used in wet environments or underwater to specified depths.

A waterproofing membrane is a thin layer of water-tight material that is laid over a surface. This layer is continuous and does not allow water to pass through it.
